Are you needing to teach fractions and decimals to tenths and hundredths? This slideshow demonstrates how to write fractions and decimals, progressing gradually from tenths to hundredths. It is immediately self correcting, allowing students to see the correct answer after each question. There are several opportunities to reinforce skills, before progressing to a more difficult question. It is recommended that teachers use the first one or two examples of each level for explicit teaching. Give each student the accompanying worksheet to fill in as you progress through the slide show. It may be completed in one, two or three sessions.
This slideshow could be used initially for teaching and then as a post test or quiz.
